Happy Father's Day!!!
Today I didn't get to see my own wonderful Dad, but we will see him soon in DuBois! We honored Russ, the other best dad in the world, with a great breakfast and gifts. This MODOK mug was something Russ really wanted for the office.
Virginia spent weeks making Russ this incredible Doctor Who trivia book. It is extensively researched and expertly illustrated. So cool. We also got Russ a few pieces of clothing and a Back to the Future Blu-Ray set.
At church, Leah sang a duet of "Great is the Faithfulness" with her friend Sophia. I love that song and it was so fitting for Father's Day because our Father God is always so faithful. They sounded beautiful and hearing Leah's voice in church is always a happy thing for me.
After church, we tailgated at the Pirate game with Grandpa and Anelia and Kristen and Chris, and cousins. It was very wet for a long, long time! After a 90 minute rain delay, though, they began the game and although we only got to see a few innings, it was fun.
Then...Russ and I attended a surprise 85th birthday party for a friend of ours at Le Mont on Mt. Washington. It was a beautiful venue but best of all were the wonderful things people had to say about the guest of honor, Barbara Webb. She is a truly inspiring person.
